Before you consider if I will even get a penny please consider the below.
You promised to start the job on one day and did not deliver that promise.
You failed to show up for two days the first week you were working on my house. And said your email bounced back on attempting to inform me that you stopped assisting me with this project. I was deducting rent each day your crew was here for my renter and you didn't even have the decency to call.
You left a mess that I was stuck cleaning up. My animals were walking on razor blades, nails, and wires that you didn't even bother to pick up. This mess also included sheet rock and other construction debris that I was left to figure out how to dispose of.
You request a site plan that I was told by the permit folks was not even requested. The details that you said you needed to do vs what the permit center wanted were 2 different things. I spent 30 mins of my time to send the few measurements they wanted. You lied to me.
I was forced out of my living space due to you. You failed to properly inform me what I was up against before you ruined my basement torn down my privacy.
Then my dad who is a construction worker and builds houses from the ground up came over for the holidays to sink my heart even lower on this whole mess. He pointed out many flaws in your framing. Which I have taken pics of. I had to start removing the framing as it was a trip hazard and falling hazard with boards not properly secured with nails.
With all of this I was never going to let you back in my house to tear out my window. Who knows you would also might leave a hole in the side of my house and say you can't continue till whatever else is taken care of. I was scared of what further damage to my house you would do. I saved for years to buy this house last year just to have my basement destroyed.
When you say on your website customer service matters I will be looking forward to you rectifying this when you consider the refund.
This mess has been a nightmare for me. I have heard of issues that people have with contractors and I really thought I could trust you and the company you represent.
