About us
Swanson Music Studio is an in-home music studio, operated by Jada & Jon Swanson. Jada has 25 years experience in music performance, worship leading and music education (choir & ensembles, music theater, piano & voice instruction), instructing students of all ages and skill-levels in piano and voice; using a wide variety of curricula, approaches, and musical genres. Jon has over 25 years experience in worship leading and performance, and began teaching piano 20 years ago.
Private and Group Voice Lessons: Find your voice. Everyone can learn to sing! Vocal instruction for all levels and vocal backgrounds. Learn a natural solid technique that applies to various styles and genres (Classical, Jazz, Gospel and Broadway, etc.)
Private and Group Piano Lessons: Traditional and chordal approaches to playing and reading music are taught. Additional areas of instruction include: music theory and composition, technique and artistry, and performance.

Is there anyone locally with voice/piano skills who has experience working with children that anyone would recommend? For this round, we would be just looking to work with someone for a hour or two but could be interested in something longer term too. Thanks for any referrals.
Jada S. replied:I have a master's degree in vocal performance and 20 years experience performing and teaching voice to students of all ages and skill-levels (beginner to professional) in my personal studio and in various colleges and universities. I use a wide variety of musical styles and genres, but always focus on developing a solid, healthy technique while highlighting and strengthening the singer's natural voice. In my studio, I have long-term students, but also work with singers preparing auditions for musicals, pageants, college entrance selections and those getting ready for studio recordings or stage productions.
