My primary interest is weightlifting and the main thing I am looking for is a positive atmosphere. Can anyone recommend a cool, indie gym that might not be particularly well known but you think is a really great place to workout? I'd love to hear your opinion!   /u/Luisito7 I can recommend http://www.rqclub.com - the gym is nice, but they also offer two large pools, tennis, squash, soccer, rock climbing and a lot more stuff for a really good price (I think something like 1.8 k a month?).

  The khlongs around Sukhumvit are generally excellent for early morning swims but do require certificates shown for a functional liver. Recommend the one in Suk 19. But also the Racquet Club might work out... http://www.rqclub.com/

  yeh they are different but i think your right, the court is the same. according to google (imagine that) there is the Racquet Club Location: Sukhumvit Soi 49, subsoi Klang, just past Samitivej Hospital on the left-hand side of the soi. There’s a big sign on the road.
