  I have a c. 1990 Roberts Transcontinental. It is Reynolds 531 and I enjoy yhe ride. It was bought second hand about 5 years ago for £275. The paint is no looking a bit worse for wear and it needs a bit of TLC. I am loath to get rid as the chap I bought it from is an old (in both senses) friend who is no longer able to ride. I would welcome advice on the following; 1. Can anyone recomend where I could have it resprayed. I'd like roughly the same colours and transfers. 2. How suitable would it be for audax? I know this is a tough question given the variety of bikes I have seen in my two seasons. For comparison I normally ride a Salsa Vaya.

  www.vernonbarkercycles.co.uk/ when I was visiting Sheffield from Canada my frame cracked. I took it to this guy and was super stoked on the job he did. He does custom bike builds and full paint shop. I'd check him out. Also its nice to support the little guys that have such a huge passion for bikes.
