Holbrook Community Centre
About us
The Holbrook Community Centre is a purpose built youth centre, providing a link with the expanding community that arose from the considerable new house building in the area. The erection of this facility was achieved by an outstanding effort by the then Conservative Councillor Enid Derby Holbrook who lobbied to ensure the building of this community centre happened. The building was opened in 1995 and the facilities comprise a first class building with a flood lit recreation area, where five a side football, basket ball, and many other sports are enjoyed by the local youth.
Our Vision
To provide a first class facility for a universal youth service and opportunities for community based groups and organisations of Holbrook.
Our Mission
The management team will strive to continually improve the facilities of the centre by working with its partners and clients to provide the best opportunity for local people, run by local people, regardless of creed or religion, to improve the community spirit in Holbrook in an inclusive fashion.
Objectives

Lorraine H. replied:If you want to hire a hall for the party, try Holbrook Community Centre in North Horsham (top of North Heath Lane). We have a website www.holbrookcc.co.uk and there is an availability calendar on there. Costs £12.50 per hour to hire.

Horsham asked:Recommendations wanted for Wedding Venues and a place for a Special Birthday Breakfast... repost from Louise. I'm looking for potential venues to hold a wedding reception on the 17th May. We are getting married abroad and want to have a party when we return for around 100 people with a relatively relaxed reception (BBQ / hog roast etc) where our band can play. We are also looking for somewhere to meet our guests and take picture etc - either the venue or somewhere before hand. Maybe a barn or marquee and if at all possible some accommodation close by for those with families. Any ideas are very much appreciated.
