We're dedicated to serving the audio community with tutorial videos and education on music software, mixing, production, DJing and the tools that the modern engineer / producer uses.
I'm unusually busy this morning with my posts but can someone recommend a resource tool to stay up on current effects and such? I already follow Graham Cochrane but I'm looking more for effects and techniques used in today's popular music. Any help?

I'd recommend paying a couple of bucks and signing up with Macprovideo.com or Groove3.com for a month or two. There you'll get a very structured and pedagogical walkthrough. From first step to full blown Dubstep/HipHop productions. That's how I got into to world of DAW production.
