ETA: I am not looking for an employee, just looking to find a different accountant. The one I am using has poor communication. I have been paying a monthly fee, not hourly and I am happy with that, but I need someone who is going to communicate clearly and promptly. I do NOT have time to input a bunch of stuff into quick books or similar. I will be sending receipts and expect expenses and income to be tracked, taxes put aside and paid and payroll paid on time. Hopefully that is clear enough on what I am looking for. I have done my own books in the past and I am just always worried I will make a mistake so that is why I prefer to have someone else do it. Well, that and time. I don't have time.
