  Hi folks, can you help me out please? In may we have to spend 2 nights in London due to no bl**dy flights from Manchester or LeedsBradford. Has anyone stayed near Euston station somewhere decent (ie: not in the middle of the red light district, or in something that costs an arm and a leg) that they could recommend? I'd rather have personal recommendations than rely on tripadvisor. Thanks:0)

  http://www.thewesley.co.uk/ This used to be the Methodist International and I used to stay there every time I was in London. It's clearly had a major upgrade since then, and it was a lovely spot to stay even then - it was opened 60 years ago as a economical, safe place for strangers to stay in London and was part of the Methodist Church. DON'T be put off by that - you don't have to be a Christian to stay there! It now markets itself as the 1 st ethical hotel in the UK and it's prices are very competitive - cheaper than the Premier Inn (£77 is mentioned). Just off Euston Road.

  I've been looking for weeks as I'm going to be up there 3 nights a week each til Xmas and unless you want a shitty guest house you won't get 4 star cheaper. I'm also staying here http://www.thewesley.co.uk Have a look x
