  Au secours! Would love your opinion on high schools - Lycee - in Pau area. My oldest, Cathy, is heading into lycee next year-we are looking at St. Crick, Lycee Barthou, Sainte Dominique and Immaculate Conception. Any strong opinions where to go? This is SO confusing =this process. Cath is bilingual in english, (and loves /needs contact with anglophones) absolutely adores art (but doesn't want to do a Bac L), likes Math and Physics, hates Spanish and Latin. For the moment she wants to be a graphic designer, but this could change + her goal/wish is University in USA (if possible). Please, if you have an opinion, could you let me know-or PM me?   I know its a long way but for Cathy you have to go visit the open day at the billingual Art lycee in Bordeaux... amazing school, unbelievable art and design programme and cool kids....if you can bear to let her go http://www.magendie.net/ worth a visit. Also we found that Barthou was just too big and too disorginised no one knew or cared what the kids were up to and just very disorginised, we would get calls saying he wasnt at school when he was and they would not even notice on the days he was home sick. And ignore the classements, they just hold kids back until they are sure they will pass so they good a good classement. there are really awful and really good teachers in any lycee. xxx good luck really tough decission and impossible to be confident that you made the right choice
