Hi advice please.... I'm thinking of doing my trailer test, is Westpoint the best or are there better recommendations?! Thanks

I was advised to avoid the Westpoint people......... try here: www.petrocdrivertraining.co.uk07813 043046 - I booked a lesson with them and my instructor was very good, and thorough. He has experience of towing livestock and therefore understands the issues of transporting live animals as opposed to someone who is just teaching you how to "tow a trailer". Very very different. I didn't need to pass a test, as am old enough not to have to in order to tow!! But booking a session was very helpful as it helped me with reversing in particular, and also a lot of stuff like anticipating the road ahead and being pro-active when towing an animal behind, which I'd never thought of. Highly recommend!
There was a post on here a while ago about training for a trailer licence. As I passed my test in 2001 I have to have one:( any know of a good company to use and how much it'll roughly cost me?

Emma Corboy , You don't have to do any training but it isn't advisable !! www.petrocdrivertraining.co.uk
