  What Indian takeaways do you recommend? The last two I have had - from restaurants I enjoy eating at - have not been particularly good. Hoping 3rd time lucky, hence asking for recommendations! Recommendations for other cuisines welcome too :)

  No worries! Not just dosa - a vast menu actually, South Indian and Sri Lankan, loads of meat, fish and veggie options and a lunch buffet. We had methu vada (spongy, savoury 'donuts', uttapam (an 'Indian pizza made of fermented rice batter) and puttu (steamed logs of layers of lightly-fermented rice and fresh coconut) All outstanding.   Suzie McKenzie-Young, Dosa Special in Ilford is AMAZING for dosa; great sambhar and chutneys. Saravana Bhavan's not bad either, and there's Dosa&Dosa in Gants Hill has a menu of 100 types (though not as good as Dosa Special!)
