Could any help recommend any good campsites please? Looking for somewhere nice to camp with the children in the half term, not really to fuss on distance.

Some nice places I've stayed at: Wales - http://www.hideaway-in-the-hills.com/ - lovely little place, but quite isolated. No phone signal and not much to do if you don't like hiking up mountains. https://fforestfields.co.uk/ - more mountains to hike up, but also a bit less isolated and easier to get to England: http://riverside-lakes.co.uk/ - Edge of the new forest. Nice place, good location, lots of stuff to do nearby. No electric hookup though.
Can anyone recommend a decent camp site near nice beaches and a lively enough town in Devon or Cornwall??

Riverside Lakes is very nice. Just outside Poole. Lovely showers and toilet area and the owners bring round fire wood and braziers of an evening. Very chilled.
