Hey all this little guy was sitting in he middle of my street hanging out. Doesn't look good. Who does one call to report a possible sick fox sitting in the road at 10am? Picture of fox is in comments
Is there anyone familiar with the LBI area who can get me a pretty good list of schools, police, and shelters in the area so that I can get flyers sent to them? thanks in advance!
Debbie A. replied:
I would definitely visit the following shelters and drop off flyers. Calling is not productive because so many volunteers are in and out and the message may not be relayed to everyone in the shelter, but a flyer is something they can hang up and recognize Cooper if he is brought in. Ocean County Animal Shelter, 321 Haywood Road (behind the motor vehicle inspection station) Manahawkin - 609-978-0127 and Popcorn Park gets a lot of strays brought in. Popcorn Park - Associated Humane Society - Forked River, NJ Exit 74 609-693-1900 Do this asap as they can hold a stray for sometimes only a week by law if not claiimed before it can be put up for adoption.
A friend would like to buy or adopt a Labrador retriever. She is in Central New Jersey. Can anyone recommend a place/breeder where she can get one? Thank you! (Sonia D. Mehta)
