About us
Sportsman's Getaway Lodge is located 2 1/2 miles North of DeWitt at 1069 McAdams Road DeWitt, Arkansas 72042 & 25 miles Southeast of Stuttgart. Sitting on 6 acres of quiet countryside with private one party lodging. Fully furnished with everything you need for a pleasant stay with us. We offer a clean comfortable lodge with
flat screen tv, satellite & a fireplace. We also have a bootroom, washer & dryer for your convenience, and a nice large covered porch to sit under & relax. We can accommodate 7 or more guest with full & twin size beds & a hide-a-bed couch. We also have an outside fire pit/wood, covered gas & charcoal grill and a covered enclosed heated pen for your dogs. NO SMOKING OR PETS ALLOWED INSIDE OF LODGE.
The lodge is owned & operated by Jeff and Michelle Gunnell. It was established in November 2005. The lodge in the beginning was Michelle's photography studio dba/Memories by Michelle. Michelle was in the Professional Photography business for 15 years until she felt it was necessary to persue other interest due to injuries she sustained from a previous wreck that resulted in knee & back injuries. Jeff is a farmer that farms with Michelle's dad & brother at Roberson & Roberson Farms where they share in the farm partnership. Jeff began his own guide service business in 1997 dba/Keaton Flats Guide Service. He offers guided, non-guided and day lease field hunts at the farm at Keaton Flats. The pits & blinds that we have are located around a 250 acre reservoir that is set aside for the ducks a rest area. Transportation can be provided to the pit or blind of your choice for the guided or non guided hunts.
We also offer lodging at Keaton Flats Duck House. This lodge is our largest one party lodge that is located at 4 Wanda Ln. Almyra, Arkansas 72003, 12 miles North of DeWitt & 15 miles Southeast of Stuttgart, country lodging and only minutes away from DeWitt, Stuttgart & Almyra. Fully furnished "mans" getaway in the country, it's less than 5 minutes from DeWitt. Accommodating up to 6 guest with full & twin size beds & a hide-a-bed couch. It has flat screen tv & satellite, dart games, cards, board games, mind teasers & many other games to pass the time away, fireplace, bootroom, covered front porch, clothes dryer, covered gas & charcoal grill, fire pit/wood & covered enclosed heated pen for your dogs. All three lodges are located within 15-25 miles of the Duck Capital of the world & Mack's Prairie Wings. We do not mix any of our groups, only private one party lodging at all 3 of our lodges, we do not supply meals at any of the lodges.
