About us
Hello, and welcome to my page. I am Peta, a daydreamer, Mother to 2 beautiful girls, story-teller and creative natural light photographer, living a very blessed life in the beautiful Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Queensland {Australia}. I live life with intense passion and with a philosophy of gratitude. I am a lover of nature, golden sunsets, nostalgia and adventure.
I look for the wonder in each and every day, and take immense pleasure in capturing, forever, those fleeting moments that may never otherwise be seen, felt, or fully celebrated. I believe that imagery helps connect us to the beauty present in our everyday reality. Perceptiveness and creativity are in my nature, and come naturally to me in work. I endeavour to capture moments of truth, and to create images that you can feel. Images that take you back. Back to a moment. I enjoy making people feel at ease. I enjoy helping people share parts of themselves that they may otherwise not reveal. I enjoy helping people tell their stories. My style is honest and raw, but gentle.
My inspiration comes from nature, and the special bonds I have with the beautiful people I am fortunate enough to spend this lifetime with - my little humans, my Husband, and the people of my community. I feel it is an incredible honour to step into somebody’s world for a short time to take a photograph. I have upmost respect for the vulnerability that comes with this, and this is how I approach my work.
I believe that life is truly wonderful, and have an intense desire to document it. All of it. Just as it unfolds.
