  Go to friendsofstanlycountyanimals.com to see a list of our transport dates. You drop them off in the morning and pick them up in the evening. Drop offs at Agri-Civic center and at McCoys in Midland.

  Cabarrus spay/neuter usually has a special and really isn't that far away. And, although farther Charlotte Spay/Neuter Clinic is an excellent choice with monthly specials as well. Contact either rescue in our County (Friends of Stanly County Animals or Stanly County Humane Society) as they often have a monthly transport.

  Does anyone know of any pit bull rescues? Does the humane society have adoptable pit bulls? I have did my homework and research about the breed and I am VERY interested in adopting one, please! I am willing to go through all the back ground checks and am even willing to have someone do a home inspection for the fur baby. :) Please do NOT recommend a back yard breeder. Thanks yall. :)

  There is also the Montgomery County, NC, Spay Neuter Van, too - they take a van load of animals to a great clinic in Vass. And the Friends of Stanly County Animals takes a van to Charlotte once a month as well. There are a lot of options, and yes, it GREATLY depends on several factors: if your animal is canine or feline, male or female, and how much it weighs. The vets at Bear Creek Veterinary Hospital are awesome - and they are always willing to answer questions. Check out their website, I'm fairly certain you can find some further information there.
