IMPORTANT QUESTION: What's your favorite coffee shop in Chicago? And why? We're making a map, writing about it, and doing a call-in segment on The Afternoon Shift on Thursday. Please let us know!

Close to the house, Sol Café , Royal Coffee and Dollop/Hoosier Momma in Evanston. ( srsly? Their decaf Americanos are bloody freaking MAGICAL) Close to work, Beans and Bagels on Montrose. Between work and home? Coffee Studio, La Colombe, or Kopi. All in Andersonville. I would like to point out that after working at Starbucks for 17 years, they are not on my list. I like to have real espresso, not that push button nonsense.
