Dog Sitter / Boarding Kennels SE Suburbs? Need to pick your brains redditors of Melbourne!
We're off on holiday in February for 3 weeks and our 2 dogs are usually looked after by family BUT this time round family is not an option. So plan B it is!
We're tossing up between using a boarding kennel or a pet sitter - Both would have their pros/cons however we are leaning towards a pet sitter due to the dogs being able to stay at home in familiar surroundings although can see the benefit of a kennel as they're probably able to get more attention. So definitely open to either option.
Does anyone have experiences or feedback on either option, and if anyone has any recommendations of somewhere/someone they've used previously that would be awesome. A bit stuck because there is a lot out there but good feedback and word of mouth is quite important as obviously we want to be reassured that our dogs will be looked after as we (ok me only) are sooks like that.
Thanks in advance guys :)

Might be a bit too far for you but I've used these guys in Warrandyte a few times. http://www.dogdayz.com.au/ I know my dog has a good time there because whenever I drive up to drop her off she starts jumping around excitedly in the back of the car!
Can anyone please recommend a caring and affordable dog kennel in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne? Your reviews and experiences would be much appreciated!
