Hey all. My soul cat is going to depart soon, and I'd like to get a realistic tattoo in rememberance. Does anyone have real to life art on them, and/or an artist they'd recommend? I don't know anyone up here yet.
Appreciate any leads.

I have no tattoos (yet) but I follow many artists. Bang Bang ( http://www.bangbangforever.com/ ) has a lot of artists who do amazingly detailed animal portraiture
Help/Advice bangbangnyc I want to get something similar to the tat in the pic, which was done at bang bang nyc. Does anyone have any idea how much something like this would cost me in total if I were to go there? I know it is one of the most popular shops in the world, I just want to see how much I have to save up. Also, I have a feeling this would be extremely expensive from bang bang, so if it is are there any other shops or artists that specialize in tattoos like this with lots of detail that almost make it look like a painting. I am located on Long Island, NY and can commute somewhere to a degree.

Hi! Bang Bang associate (and subreddit lurker) here. Our shop minimum runs at $500 per hour. We do however have artists that run at a premium rate (based on demand/specialty). That design would be by Eva (@evakrbdk on Instagram). Color circle portraits generally take her 3 to 4 hours. Unfortunately, she has just concluded her stay at our studio. Take a look at our artist portfolios at www.bangbangforever.com! Personally, I recommend Dragon (@drag_ink on Instagram) or Jay Shin (j.shin.nyc on Instagram). If you send us an email, we can provide an accurate estimate for you, so don’t hesitate to do so!
