  Inexpensive clinic for uninsured? Currently without health insurance, but concerned I may have an ear infection. I'd like to get it looked at, but I don't want to spend a thousand dollars to be told to go home and take an ibuprofen. I don't need free care, and I am not low-income so I will not qualify for any kind of sliding scale. Anybody know a walk-in clinic or an urgent care that will do a relatively inexpensive quick checkup?

  AccesshealthLA.org has lots of locations in the city and provides many services on a sliding scale, accepts Medicaid, and helps enroll in Medicaid. Check it out
