  Most popular question 'why do I need a liner' just take a look at the video ! A local company fitted these two stoves to which we also quoted to fit ! Our prices were the same yet ours included a liner ! They could install within three weeks but we were three months due to demand ! The customer kept having large pieces of masonry fall into the stove and under inspection we found that the feathers in the chimney had gone so two fires are trying to use one flue ! Without going into the fire risk or carbon monoxide poisoning situation I think the photos speak for themselves ! If you want a wood burner fitted it has to come with a liner ! This is not a one-off ! We come across this weekly ! It's worth the wait to have it fitted correctly the first time round. See the video of this problem at GMC Services on Facebook or GMC Stoves

  Any recommendations for someone to install a chimney guard on top of house? Keep getting pieces of birds nest dropping down the chimney !

  Before fitting any guard it would be advisable to sweep through first as you cannot see what is in the chimney from the top or he bottom , once it has been swept through then fit a cowl as with over 7000 chimney fires a year and 70 deaths from carbon monoxide poisoning you cannot be too careful www.gmc-services.co.uk

  Looking for a reasonably priced cleaner to come round for a couple of hours a week (must be available on a wednesday) to do a little housework in a 2 bed flat, would involve ironing, polishing, hoovering, loading/unloading the dishwasher. Comment below if interested and we'll inbox you :-) and before anyone has any comments about being lazy, we're both out working full time and wednesday is a chill day for us so housework is not an option!
