My question for any groomers out there is when am I ok to have her trimmed? We had to shave her right down a few months ago due to an allergic reaction when she was dog-sat by a friend, and I would like to get her cleaned up, but she has quite a large incision on her side.Jayme M. replied:What type of surgery was it? A typical spay/neuter 14 days should suffice. Other types of surgery may require abit longer. You should have your post op prior to any grooming. Even when outer stitches are removed sometimes under lying ones remain so get your vets ok.
