I didn't like Khao San Road but it's by far rated the highest by everyone I've talked to. Personally I like the taste of Young Thailand's pad Thai, and Thai Princess' red curry and the Islamic noodles at Salad KingPretty much depends on who makes the best Thai dish over which is best overall for me.

Khao San Road is all hype and Salad King is comparable to bad food court food (ie. good prices but don't expect too much). Highly recommend Mengrai! Once you've had Mengrai, you'll likely find Salad King bland and unflavourful.

Salad King is my favourite. It is inexpensive and their service is fast. Located on Yonge St, just north of Dundas St on the west side.
