  Can anyone give me any tips for easing my dog's itching? He's a one year old Labrador, has been to the vet a few times and they just say it's probably allergies... He's had 2 courses of Apoquel and Malaseb shampoo, and I currently give him an antihistamine each day (as vet said this was ok). He doesn't have fleas etc, he licks his belly and wee area and has started on his legs, and I notice when I pick up his poop, there are even hairs in that! I'm putting a little olive oil on his food (which is a dry food), and I'm going to give him some oily fish at times too... Does anyone have any suggestions of natural ways of helping him, rather than tablets/medication etc. Will book in with vet again this week but not sure how much they can help... He is insured so not worried about costs.... Thanks.

My dog has had it 3 times now and each time the vet wants 250 quid to 'sort it' yet it keeps coming back I have done research on the net and it does say how it can come back but this seems to happen as soon as the tablets have finished, I found a couple of websites saying allicin capsules can help fix the problem as they can fight bacteria. Just wondering if anyone has had anything similar with their pets and if they found a solution whatever it may be? Obviously I will not allow my pet to suffer, just wondering if anyone knows a way to stop it re-occuring/cutting down the vets bill as paying that every few months is a bit of a killer. Thanks.

  If your dog has skin problems it's probably down to what you're feeding him. I'd recommend Eden http://www.edenpetfoods.com
