  Hi everyone, I am doing the installation of the fire proof doors for my 8 bed in Ealing, London (W5) and I am looking for a lock that allows to open the doors from the inside without the need of using a key.I will have the delivery of the first 3 doors tomorrow, I would like a lock like this one on the photo. Is the kind of lock they have on ships that has lock and handle separate. anyone has any idea where i can get one of these? Also I have a handyman who is going to do the installation of the doors? I am not sure if he has done it before... do you know anyone with experience doing fire doors installation?? Thanks

  BTW I recommend you use Handles and full backplates not handle and separate lock plate as shown. My experience is that those ones come loose with heavy use while the full backplate ones don't. I use the Eurospec locks and handles - get them here: www.housegoblin.co.uk
