Anyone know of a good, reputable furniture repair person who is qualified to do antique repairs, but it not too costly? We have an antique, ornate, mahogany trimmed sofa that the arm has broken on. It needs structural repairs. It's almost 200 years old and we have over $1600 invested in it since buying it back in the 1980's, but we can't afford the repair estimate of $800 we have been quoted.
