Has anybody had or has been to a cocktail function at The Boat House by the Lake before? We're having our wedding there in 2018. We've chosen the cocktail package. The venue has tables and chairs that would suit a sit down dinner and has directed us to Show Pony events to hire sofas and low tables. We didn't expect that cost and Show Pony is a bit out of our price range.
Two questions: do you think that it would be fine to have the restaurant style tables and chairs (we could use these at no additional cost) at a cocktail party style wedding?
And can anybody recommend an events company that hire out sofas and low tables at a price that won't send us broke?
