  AppleCare/Insurance Help I bought an iPhone 11 recently with AppleCare, but it doesn’t cover loss and theft. I was planning on buying a separate insurance policy to cover loss and theft, but I know a lot of companies will replace it with a refurbished iPhone. This would void my AppleCare policy because my phone wouldn’t have original Apple parts. Has anybody else experienced this issue, and do you know of a gadget insurance company that will replace your iPhone with one that has genuine Apple parts if you lose it? I live in the UK if this helps.

  Apple sells a version of AppleCare for iPhones that includes loss and theft. Give AppleCare a call and I’m sure they’d let you upgrade. 1-800-275-2273 Edit: never mind. That’s US only. Sorry.

  HELP!!! Does anyone know a local business who I would contact about my iMac, my webcam light has been on for a couple months now won't go off. I just got an alert that said my passwords and personal information has been compromised, also something about my webcam being hacked. Then also my bank has shut down my debit card 2 times in the last couple months also saying it was at risk for being compromised.   Unless it's under warranty or if you have Apple Care, Apple will charge for support. I'd get a hold of a place that specializes in Mac repair for something like this. Odds are it's an easy fix, since Mac infections are rare but easy to fix. On-site repairs can be pricy (Sandpoint Macs charge $90/hr with a $90 minimum, for instance). But it wouldn't hurt to call Apple Support and see how much they charge for out-of-warranty remote support: 1-800-275-2273

  there is a trouble-shooting number to call a technician when Tommy's wouldn't boot we obviously could not go online to chat....lol 1-800-275-2273 have your serial number ready to give them.
