  Angie Matics, I would encourage you to contact the agency I work for the Child Care Resource Center & speak to Annette our Parent Service Specialist. We our a non-profit Resource & Referral Agency serving the Early Childhood Community. We have a database of every licensed childcare program and five counties including Lorain County. one of our services for parents, includes FREE referrals based on your needs, to a Program/Programs that we can pull from our database from the info you share as your needs. 😊. You can reach us at 440/960-7187 or 800/526-5268 Many of these Licensed programs are also on the Food Program, so that you can be assured that your child or children will receive nutritious meals and snacks daily! It's important to note that Ohio now requires all childcare programs in home or after school or childcare centers to be licensed. We have a database of every licensed preschool, childcare center, after-school & in-home childcare program in Lorain, Erie, Sandusky, Huron & Seneca Counties. Someone from our parents services department would be glad to assist you in getting a list of preschools in the Amherst area. I work for the Child Care Resource Center.
