  Florida Homesteader has a 7 year old girl who is very interested in art. She's adamant that she wants to be an artist when she grows up. "Unfortunately she has her parents' talent in the area (my husband and I are both trained as chemical engineers so art has a tendency to be rather neglected in our house). I really don't have time to add another subject that requires my guidance, but I think having an art curriculum to work through independently if she finishes her other subjects in time would help keep her little artistic brain focused better. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced art curriculum for a 7 year old who is barely capable of drawing a recognizable stick figure? She is very bright and talented in many other areas (reading, piano, sewing, milking goats) so please don't take my honesty regarding her artistic skills as overly harsh criticism. Simply stating the facts to clarify the situation. Thank you!"
