Hello! I'm looking into schools/programs for special effects and prosthetics and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions! I've looked into a few, and was wondering if anyone could tell me about Cinema Makeup School in LA. Thanks!

I attended Cinema Makeup School. I took a Private, Week Long crash course with Kato Destefan to prepare me for a feature film I was hired to work on. In that week I learned how to sculpt, mold, apply and paint prosthetics, as well as how to life cast a nd make fake body parts. In a week. CMS has their techniques down to a science. I am going back soon to take their full course. If I could learn the aforementioned in just a week and have it all camera ready a month later, imagine what I, or anyone for that matter, can learn in 18 weeks? CMS offers some financial aid to those that qualify through a private lending company, they also have 2 amazing scholarship competitions, as well as a work-study program. I strongly encourage you to look into this.
