  I am doing a clean out, and looking for suggestions of local places that could make the best use of things I no longer use. In particular, I'd like any suggestions for where to donate: (1) women's professional clothing and shoes in good condition (I would like to donate to someplace that will give them to women for job/interviewing assistance); and (2) children's books and arts/crafts supplies. Of course I could donate them to an organization that would sell them and use the proceeds, but I would prefer to simply give them to people who can use them. Thank you!

  I'd consider donating for Diva/Divo. Our closet at Unity is pretty stocked for clothes at the moment. However, what we DO need are toiletry supplies. We have many guests who living in temporary situations and that would be appreciated! You can donate during office hours (see unitymilwaukee.org) or come and join us on Wednesdays for our community meal and lent service.
