Bongiwe Walaza Designs cc was founded in 2003 by Award winning Head Designer, Bongiwe Walaza. Bongiwe Walaza designs and makes Afro inspired haute couture. Walaza Designs has an individualistic approach, making garments that portray the woman and enhance femininity, catering for all figures. The designs have an African feel with a global appeal. They have been showcased and exhibited Internationally throughout the years in places such as Qatar, Egypt, India, Zimbabwe, Germany, Switzerland, Milan, Greece, Hong Kong, Vietnam and in many other countries globally.
Bongiwe Walaza Designs studio is based at the Fashion Kapitol in the Johannesburg CBD. Ready to wear designs are available at Burgundy Fly Stores in Maponya Mall and Rosebank.

Afro Couture designer, Bongiwe Walaza has been busy preparing for a fashion show of a different kind. This year she takes to the runway with a brand new line made specially for brides... Momentous Brides. Momentous Brides has an exclusive range of bridal gowns both for Traditional wedding and 'White' wedding. Walaza promises a bridal line that caters for all, offering a diversified range of gowns for a bride's most significant day. Her elegant traditional wedding gowns will have the African bride feeling exclusively beautiful on her special day. The line also includes a special range of the "traditional white" wedding gown, that will have you dazzling on your Special Day. Momentous Brides understands that each bride needs and wants to special and beautiful in her own way, and it is our objective to help you reveal the beauty you possess inside to reflect outwardly on your wedding day.
