Just wondering if you could post a question for me, but without my name for now as i know a few people on the page and this is a new venture that I haven't told anyone about as yet: Hi all, I am currently in the process of talks with a shop that I am looking to rent in the high street of a costal village. I make handmade children's clothing which will be sold in the shop but am looking to have the other half of the shop as handmade childrens items other than clothing. I would be looking to charge £5 per week per shelf. There would be no big tie in just on a monthly rolling basis. Also I would only be taking one person of each type, for example if you sold cushions I wouldn't have another cushion seller in the shop but if it turns out to be popular then I will hold a list to be able to contact people if a space became available for a particular product. I would not be taking any commission from products sold just the rental charge for the space. Cost of getting initial products to me would need to be covered by the seller. At the moment I'm just trying to get a feel of whether this side of the business would have enough interest to make it viable.
