  Hi everyone. Looking for recommendations for a touring caravan site please. My son is 12 and on his ownsome so we look for places where he might make friends, so places with a games room, activities, whatever. Lake access/Lakeside is also fab as he has a kayak. Any suggestions would be gratefully received please. So far we have visited Hills of Oaks, Park Cliffe and Hilcroft and I've booked Fallbarrow and Park foot so far for this year. Thank you! xx

  Gill Head Farm at Troutbeck just outside Keswick, www.gillheadfarm.co.uk great campsite, facilities, childrens play area, communal facilities, etc., worth a look but can recommend and the beautiful backdrop of Blencathra :-)

  Hi all were looking for a nice Caravan/lodge/cottage that sleeps 6 in the north lakes Keswick? for our hols in August. We have four children that love the outdoors. Would be good if there where other children to hang out with and be by a lake . Would rather have a recommendation than just booking blind. Anyone recommend ??
