  The best optometrist I have ever seen for my dd is Dr. Sandy Johal. Her office is in Surrey. She however is a developmental Optometrist and so worth the drive! To find out more go to covd.org She has people from the okanogan and the island who come in to see her. She is so lovely and professional. Her regular check up is covered under BC medical, at least it was for us. Before we found her we going to a place in town and I will never go back there.... here is dr.
