  Does anyone have a list of edible California native vegetation, or know of a good source, that would grow well in El Sobrante (located in a valley) with drip irrigation? I'm redoing my parent's front yard and I'm hoping to plant some edible native vegetation along with flora for pollinators. We have deer that visit the front yard on a regular basis as well. Mum misses her roses. Any suggestions on deer repelling shrubs? Rosemary?
