Slowly but surely we have been connecting people who "have" housing to people who "need" housing. Currently available: 2 townhouses in Ventura, a house in Ojai with 2 rooms, and possibly a guest house (still waiting on confirmation). Reply to this post or PM me and we will make the connections. Tonya is gathering names of people who have shelter and I'm assuming those who need shelter: Leslie has experience building fire and earthquake proof emergency shelters that can later be converted for other uses.   May I suggest contacting Cal-Earth Institute of Hesperia, CA regarding its earthbag homes, including simple domes as a disaster response. Any university in your region might be encouraged to develop a longer-range program in cooperation with Cal-Earth Institute. http://calearth.org/

  Justin, the best place you can go to learn is Cal Earth. This is the center where it all started so anyone teaching you has learned from them. I encourage you to save your pennies and go for a week. The amount of information you learn in a week or two will army you with the knowledge of how to plan and construct an earthbag home. http://www.calearth.org
