  ROOF RACK ADVICE I have a Focus Estate 08 I want to put roof bars on, mainly for surfboards. I'm confused as to what I can get at a good price, as Halfords quoted £157 which I don't want to pay. I have these slots on the roof. Are there roof bars I can get to fit straight in them? Do I need a separate socket to go in then bars on top? I don't want side rails too.

  Mines a Buzz Rack Buzz Runner Spark 3, but the most bikes I've ever mounted on it is 2, weighs about 15 kg but maybe they are lighter now since I have had mine for about 5 years . The The Buzz Runner spark 2 will defo be lighter and if I was buying one now this is probably what I would go for. Hope this helps.
