  Advice needed. Putting a solid oak floor throughout boat. To people that have already done this did you put an insulate layer underneath (have seen 2mm cloth stuff) or is this waste of time? Carpenter said personal preference so wanted to get some opinions on here??

  We used this stuff under our floorboards works pretty well though if I could do again and had no bulkheads in I'd lift the ply floor and put Cellotex/kingspan inbetween the floor supports above the ballast http://www.heatingmaster.co.uk/styrofoamtm-6 mm-underfloor...
