  Looking for advice from West Coast Floridians Hello, I'm looking for some advice/insight from locals. I am looking for a space to host a training in West Coast Florida in early March. My boss (the trainer) wants something "beachfront" and close to the airport so I've been looking in the Tampa, Sarasota, and Clearwater area. I am specifically looking for a hotel with a meeting space that can hold up to 60 people. She has had some bad luck in the past with booking a hotel where the place was infested with roaches and the air conditioning didn't work so the temperature was upwards of 90 degrees the whole time. Due to this attendance was poor so we are trying to do as much homework as possible to make sure we are getting the most bang for our buck. I can't rely on yelp reviews and I don't know the area (we are in Iowa). Any areas we should look into? Specific hotels? Areas to avoid because it will be close to spring break time?
