I've been setting up Acuity which I love but it's failing me on a couple of things. When customers buy a pushchair clean/service they can either drop off to us in Bristol or Cheltenham (postage free) or they need to pay a courier cost. I need a system that will let them select the main product (i.e.Bugaboo pushchair clean/service) and compulsorily make them select the second product so they can either select 'drop off £0.00 or courier £x.00'. Also, the booking of my time is not straight forward, for instance a pushchair clean/service takes 4 hours - on one day I only work 3.5hours due to commitments which would mean they cannot make a booking on this day which seems a bit silly as I could make up the other half hour the following morning. Can anyone advise a booking system that will help with the above and integrate with my wordpress site? Generally though, most other call centres will charge you £30-50 per month minimum, but as always you get what you pay for, if all you want is an occasional message taken then Answer is probably the place for you! ThanksJohn D. replied:If you want a booking system then mine (www.DiaryBooker.com) is free to run intially, you just pay for text credits for appointment reminders, but this will also cut down on your missed appointments and allow you to keep track of clients who may come once and dont come back, you can then market to them directly, as they will often be an easier sale than new clients. You can also proactively upsell to existing clients easier as you can track how often they come and what services they use etc. I also have a new feature coming in the new year (will be working on it over Christmas) which will effectively give you a basic web page for your business (like a fb page) as part of DiaryBooker. It wont be as good as having a "real" website like Elliott suggested, but its certainly better than nothing, and better than a fb page for anyone who doesnt have fb (yes there really are such people!!). Should certainly get a fb page too though. Other places to look are perhaps your local church/parish newsletter, sometimes they are happy to do a bit of editorial on you so that they have a bit of real content rather than just being all adverts...Twitter and fb are both great for getting the workd out though. Also you might like to look at for instance giving a voucher to a charity raffle or something, but you need to make sure you get a good bit of coverage for it, and not just thrown in with a bunch of other prizes, otherwise the only person who gets to know about you is the person who wins!
