Tinna H. asked:We are travelling to Athens in the summer, this time with 20 month old twins. Would anyone have experience of a suitable resort / hotel/apparthotel for a 3-4 days with young toddlers ? We are looking for something which has kids pools ideally, toddler friendly amenities but if not, at least a sandy beach. The snag is it should be maximum 2.5 hours drive from Athens. I've not had any luck finding appropriate hotels so far. I've read Matt's pages on travelling with children and it sounds as though there are some perfect places on islands but not near Athens, hence reaching out to the group in case anyone has ideas or has been in the same boat

My day would be lazy, sleep until I wake, breakfast, lounge by the sea reading under an umbrella, swimming, long walks, a little shopping, etc. I get a little overwhelmed when looking at my choices. I don't really want to spend a lot of time traveling around, I'd prefer to stay put for most of the time I'm there. I like to do a lot of walking, meeting other people and eating. Swimming is not really important but I do like to paddle around in warm water. (I saw on one of your links something about a hot springs - I love that!)
