Can anyone recommend a school either specifically for gifted high schoolers, or one that is accommodating? Best case for us is something in northern NJ, however, at this point I'm really open to anything. Thank you.

The Grayson School in Broomall, PA, is currently K-8, but I believe they plan to expand to K-12. It's very new, but I've heard good things. http://thegraysonschool.org
Dear all, I am new to this group and am not sure if this question has been asked. My child is suspected to be between the fine line of a special and gifted child. This is assessed and evaluated by different therapists (art therapist/occupational therapist/speech therapist/music therapist). Would like to know how and where can I get a qualify evaluation to confirm this? Appreciate if you could share with me qualify contacts that are located around setia alam/meru/Klang area. Many thanks in advance.

"The myth that all children are gifted is a common one, which is why we suspect the response was so vehement. It’s not just this post; it’s a myth perpetuated by the first grade teacher, the Facebook friend from college, the well-meaning coworker. It d oesn’t come from a bad place, but regardless of the intentions behind the sentiment, it remains the case that this attitude—all children are gifted—works to undermine and deny the very real struggles that gifted students and their families face..."
