  This is my tree. It's around 50years old but I think it's a bit sick. Trying to get an arborist who is tree friendly and doesn't want to chop it down. Some of the branches look rotten and have bora holes, some small some large. It looks heathy in spring but come this time of year white things appear on the underside of the leaves. I think it's trying to pop up new life because at the base of the trunk there is new growth. Does anyone have a recommendation for a pro tree person that's not massively expensive? Even direction of what todo would be good. This would be so appreciated!

  Harry at Wellington Tree services /Trees R has always given good advice and reliable work on various trees on our section over a number of years - http://www.treesr.co.nz/ To do it yourself you will need a very good saw/chainsaw and perhaps a head for heights and a steady ladder!
