  Hi everyone, need some advice. I am looking for a solicitor who will help me claim back loss of earnings of an accident that was not my fault (my parked car wrote off in a police chase) the third parties insurance is trying to not accept liability for the accident. I am unsure where to start, as I am a full time student with very minimal income at present, would I have fees and costs covered? Tia xx

  Can anyone advise? I have an Aster Housing Association here in Devizes Wiltshire and I have been put on a black list for complaining since I moved in last December as this place is well below standard and the so called surveyor who has to see everything through is the biggest b+++ s++++++ you could meet. He is a total liar and causes so much stress and worry. I have three night storage heaters that are useless and pathetic - they blocked the fire place up before I moved in and I am struggling to heat this place - everyone who I know that has these heaters get good warmth from them - mine are dead by the afternoon and two have no facility for switching on evenings when it is absolutley freezing here - it gets so cold a fan heater is also usesless. Aster looked at them earlier this year and said they were fine - other Housing Associations work with their tenants - Aster do not seem to do this - every time I phone to say something is wrong I have to go through this person who black listed me because I complained about him and I feel they now treat me different to everyone else. Is there a body I can contact that can tell me the law in detail regarding these Housing Associations?

  Call ACAS first( http://www.acas.org.uk ) then the Citizen's Advice Bureau ( www.citizensadvice.org.uk ), they'll give you good advice. Both have been very helpful to a colleague I am assisting in an unrelated case.
