If Custer hadn't met his demise at the LBH, he would probably go down as one of the many, or several, young boy generals in the CW and not have near the notoriety he now has. GAC and Ranald MacKenzie were the two top young generals. Question for anyone who knows: If it hadn't been for the LBH, aside from CW buffs, would the public know the name of Custer anymore than, say, Mac Kenzie, Wesley Merritt or any of the other great young generals?
