I lifted the watch out of the case this morning and the acrylic one just fell off. Weird. It’s undamaged and I’ll bring to local watch repair shop as it’s out of my league to repair. I’d like to replace it with a proper crystal rather than the existing acrylic if they can be sourced. Any advice appreciated.

  For jewelry tools and precious metals rio grande, and ottofrei.com are big ones in north america. There are others that sell a lot of beads and findings like fire mountain gems. if your working glass its a different group of suppliers.

  Also, tell your dad that he may not be looking for an anvil, he may (for his purposes) actually be searching for a SWAGE BLOCK and some stakes. Failing that... ^This is apretty good amallish anvil (the 125) http://www.ottofrei.com/Anvils-Made-In-USA.html Frei are an excellent brand with decent if slightly too-bouncy-for-my-taste anvils.
