5 STARSI am not a natural driver. In the past I have looked to get on the road but struggled to get the support I needed with skills that did not come easy to me. In my first experience with learning to drive with a previous instructor, my learning felt like a burden to him and was met with frustration. The ordeal only succeeded in making me believe that I do not belong on the road and that driving might just not be for me. I am currently getting taught by Tony and these lessons are worlds apart in comparison; Tony works hard to not only exercise incredible patience, he also takes time to understand the person he is coaching. What is my personality? What feedback works well for me? What could I do better? What are the current successes? Our driving lessons work to a tempo that suits me. There’s no demanding expectations to blast through skills like some kind of crazed shopping list. We take time to digest my progress and each skill is a calm process.Thanks to Tony’s teachings , I feel empowered on the road. I belong here. Now each lesson is built up with excitement to learn and to genuinely enjoy the process. I am not a natural driver. But now I feel pretty darn close! Thanks for everything Tony.Onto the next one!
