so heres the thing. I recently moved over an hour outside of Austin, TX, really for rent reasons and because I hate living in cities. Here's the problem. The best place for groceries near me now is HEB. and bless them, they do have options for me. But it is really limited and is mostly processed and carb options. Their produce leaves a lot to be desired, and other than that, Im pretty much stuck with processed foods. If it comes down to it, Ill drive to austin once a week, but I dont really want to do that, and I am on a limited budget. HELP. I need some suggestions about what to do. Im almost going to give up being vegan because its so hard now. There arent even any restaurants around me. Can anyone suggest some creative things to do with limited options, plants I can grow indoors, or maybe ways I can get fresh produce to me? Any suggestions will be helpful, and please only be positive.
